Paul was born to poor, but honest parents in Brisbane, Australia and then was booted out of the house when he was 3.  He showed potential for comedy at an early age (great cliché) and was thus headed for a great career in politics.  Unfortunately, Paul couldn’t wear suits comfortably and so settled on a comedy career.

Comedy has taken Paul from Brisbane to Sydney to Melbourne to New Zealand to Canada to Papua New Guinea and back to Australia.  He now “kills” them in all venues he plays.  (The large piece of wood he carries with him helps).  Now if he could just do something with his hair….

Paul has worked with many comedy greats over the years including Glynn Nicholas, Mick Molly, Tony Martin, Shane Bourne, Judith Lucy, Jimeoin, Sean Hughes, Bob Downe, Corky and the Juice Pigs and Steven Wright… to list just a few

Paul wrote and starred in his own one-man show, “Late Night with Groucho” which debuted at La Boite theatre.

For four years Paul had his own radio show, “The Paul Brasch Show” on Brisbane’s Triple M every Sunday night as well as writing for Triple M’s Breakfast Show.

Amongst other TV appearances, in recent years Paul has recorded “Headliners” and the “Amnesty International Comedy Special” and “Australia Stands Up” for Foxtel’s Comedy Channel.

Paul works currently as a corporate comedian and a regular performer at Australia’s top stand-up comedy venues including the Sit Down Comedy Club in Brisbane, The Comedy Store in Sydney and The Comics Lounge in Melbourne.
