Tristram Morgan
Tristram has been performing stand-up since 2001, and got started after seeing too many average comedians on the telly which made him think it must be really easy – that, plus the fact that it seemed like a lot more fun that being a cubicle-bound desk-jockey.
His material is an eclectic blend of social commentary and political humour, with plenty of outright silliness thrown in for good measure. Tristram believes that comedy competitions are a brutal way of artificially comparing varied styles of stand-up, but that’s mainly because he hasn’t won any.
Too old to be a hip young thing, too young to be a grumpy old man in need of a new hip, he tries to make sense of the world through comedy, as a more dignified option than having a mid-life crisis.
