Brodi Snook
Brodi Snook has been making waves across the UK and Australian comedy circuits since 2014. After eleven years in London, she has recently returned home to Australia. Brodi began her stand-up career as a two-time RAW Comedy state finalist. She then made her mark on the international stage, reaching the finals of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Brodi debuted in Edinburgh in 2019 with her solo show Handful, which made it onto the UK Telegraph’s list of Best Comedy Shows – she was also named in their Top 40 Jokes of the festival. Brodi was invited by the BBC to perform in their Arts Hour New Year International Comedy Show, which aired in over 90 countries. She has since had numerous appearances on BBC World Service, guesting on Comedians vs the News. Snook has performed runs in Norway and Switzerland and in 2019/20, supported Ardal O’Hanlon on his year-long UK tour. Brodi won Chortle’s Best Newcomer Award in early 2020.
Handful continued to tour across Australia in 2021, selling out venues at Melbourne, Sydney and Perth comedy festivals. Snook has since performed on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow, toured extensively with the Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase and performed in the Sydney Comedy Festival Galas, filmed at The Enmore Theatre & State Theatre.
2022 saw Brodi hit the Australian comedy festival circuit once again with her new show, Waylaid, before returning to the UK for a reprise run of Handful at London’s Soho Theatre. She was also invited to perform at the Paddy Power Comedy Festival in Dublin. Brodi has done tour support across multiple countries, opening for Beth Stelling and Randy Feltface. Snook most recently supported Joanne McNally across her sold-out tour of Australia.
In 2023, Brodi toured Australia with her sixth solo show, Villain, selling out her venues at Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane comedy festivals. Villain received rave reviews, earning four stars from The Age and five stars from Australia’s number one arts platform, Arts Hub. Snook will return to the festival circuit with a brand-new show in 2024.
