Codie Grimsey

Codie Grimsey is a Brisbane based comedian who has a dry, awkward, deadpan style of humour. Growing up as a freakishly tall, red-head meant he had to use comedy to cope with the constant torment that came with looking like the love-child of Ronald McDonald and a Fridge.

Codie’s awkward stage presence has been likened to that of the famous Luke McGregor. He mixes hilariously awkward true stories from his childhood with short and not so witty one liners, giving audiences a unique and refreshing change to anything else they have seen before.

As a relative newcomer to the stand up comedy scene, in 2020 he was successful in making the RAW comedy competition QLD state final.
