Jacob Lingard

Jacob Lingard is a Brisbane-based stand-up comedian and performer.

Confident, conversational and truly natural, Jacob is an inimitable presence on stage. Setting himself apart from simple joke-telling by drawing on personal experiences, a dark, oddly whimsical sense of humour and the audience itself to create an experience that feels completely unique.

In 2012, he was a state finalist in the Green Faces Comedy Competition; in 2013 he was part of a sell-out Melbourne Comedy Festival Show and in 2015 was hand-picked by the festival as one of five comedians to be part of the prestigious Comedy Zone.Jacob Lingard is a Sydney-based comedian known for his confident and conversational style of comedy. In 2015 he was selected to be part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s ‘Comedy Zone’ showcase and has opened for the likes of Beth Stelling, Esther Povitsky and Jimeoin.

He currently hosts and perform on stages all across the country.
